About Us

As a 'not-for-profit' Community Interest Company (CIC) we support activities to reduce waste, promote recycling and provide sustainable alternatives to single use plastics.

Our waste Free Eco Shop offers a wide range of wholefoods, loose leaf teas and confectionery all without unnecessary plastic packaging.
Everything is sold by weight so you can buy as much or as little as you need. Cutting down on food waste!
We've opted out of the self-serve so come in and be served in the 'NEW' old fashioned way.
Bring your own containers, help yourself to jars provided by our generous community, purchase an organic cotton bag or use a brown paper bag.
We have a refill station supplying household cleaning products, everything from laundry detergent to liquid hand soap and multi-surface cleaners. All made with natural ingredients, suitable for septic tanks and cruelty free.
Simply bring your old containers and get them refilled.
You can also pick up a range of recycled and sustainable products; from recycled toilet roll to sustainable bamboo straws and kitchenware.

Recycling -

We are passionate about recycling, it is not the answer to today's plastic pollution, and the effect it is having on our Oceans, wildlife and our own health, but we are supporting work to keep unwanted plastics out of the environment.

We have been awarded funding from the Safer Communities CIC in Stafford to help us improve facilities for our community.

Currently we accept the following items:

  • Crisp Packets
  • Pringles and other crisp tubes
  • Oral care products (toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes and cartons)
  • Pet food pouches and treat bags
  • Chocolate wrappers
  • Biscuit and cake wrappers
  • Ella's kitchen and other baby food pouches
  • Cracker wrappers
  • Pens and felt pens
  • Batteries

With the help of volunteers, we sort and pack these items and send them to Terracycle to be processed, where they are then turned into new items, such as children's playground flooring or park benches.
Some of the items we collect raise money for charities - our chosen charity is Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA)

We also collect used stamps to raise moeny for Motor Neurone Disease Awareness.
