Flax and chia seeds are incredibly rich in nutrients. Both are a great source of plant based omega 3 fatty acids, fibre and minerals, all important for a healthy heart.
I love to spread this onto slices of crisp, green apple for an afternoon snack, or spread it on to warm toasted rye bread and cover it with sliced banana. If I'm feeling a bit indulgent I drizzle a bit of maple syrup over it. The combination of sweet and ever so slightly salty is delightful.
