
Tiny split red lentils disintegrate into a thick, dry, yellowish purée when cooked. Use them for soups and spicy Indian dhals.
Allow approximately 40g of lentils per 80g cooked serving
Wash thoroughly Place drained lentils in a saucepan and cover with fresh cold water, bring to the boil and boil briskly for 10 minutes, reduce heat and simmer gently for remaining time or until cooked and tender. (Time 15 - 20 minutes)
